At the 11th annual festival, Ms Rabea Michler from Germany presented a concert on Player to which Ms Arthi Natarajan presented a Bharatanatyam   It is the practice of VFAS to present Music competition awards to the winners at the hands of prominent musicians. A scene from VFAS' Independence Day program   Apart from cultural activities VFAS also got associated in the Maha Shodasa Ganapathi Homam and Maha Mrityunjaya Homam celebrated by Sadguru Shri Seshadri Swamigal Trust on 26th Feb 2012 in the immediate presence of Guruji Shri KVLN Sharma.
   
 
VFAS also felicitated Kum Vimarshini Jairam who was selected as Best Female Vocalist of the year 2011 in the Spirit of Youth festival conducted by Music Academy, Chennai in 2011 and Kum Janani Shrikanth who was the first Runner Up and the Peoples' Choice Award in the Carnatic Music Idol 2012 conducted by Jaya TV. Both are Vashi residents and students of Music Teacher Smt Lakshmi Padmanabhan.
